Little Farm in the Smokies
This is what a little farm looks like in the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. They live at this beautiful forest behind their farm of which people in the big cities can only dream.

We love the Smoky Mountains as they are always fun to travel. But for most of us the best times are spring and fall because in the summer it can get awfully hot around 100 degrees and in the winter they have ice and snow.

In the Appalachian Foothills in Northern Georgia we find Helen, a beautiful little town. Because of it's climate and the lovely smooth hills this felt like home for German/Bavarian settlers in the 1800s. Helen is one of the most visited towns because it looks so different, plus they offer white water rafting which is fun for young and older people.

Hopefully these clouds will bring some rain into the valley. We saw wild horses that looked like they were searching for water. Please let it rain for them and the grass.
