Antelope Canyon

Some areas in the Antelope Canyon are really tight. One has to squeeze through. This is no place for people with tendency for panic attacks in close spaces. Also it can get hot in the Canyon but there is a tiny ray of light coming through which is nice.

Antelope Canyon

And this is the long awaited moment of the sand flowing down the Canyon wall onto a large heap of sand. One can only imagine what it would look like when a large stream of water rushes into the Canyon during rainy season. Not a good place to be at that time.

Antelope Canyon 5

This is another example how the colors and rock formations vary in the Antelope Canyon in Arizona which is about 120 feet deep under ground. The Upper Canyon is 660 feet long and the Lower Canyon is 1,335 feet long. And this colorful show of Nature goes on throughout the whole canyon.

Antelope Canyon 2

Antelope Canyon in Arizona is a paradise for photographers not only because of the different rock formations but also because of the incredible change of colors throughout the whole canyon. Showing the size of the people to demonstrate how high the canyon walls are.

High Desert near Antelope Canyon

When driving along Hwy 160 and Hwy 98 in Arizona there is no indication that Antelope Canyon might be close. It's kind of boring at times.

In the Middle of Nowhere

Coming from Monument Valley, which is way in the distance, and driving to Antelope Canyon on Hwy 160 and 98 in Arizona. It's high desert, very dry, just lots of bushes. And in the middle of nowhere is a high-voltage electric mast with 5 lines coming from Page going where?
