Way up on Grand Mesa in Colorado, Hwy 65. It's cold but sunny with an amazing blue sky. The Aspen wait for warmer weather.

Springtime at 9000 ft Elevation
Even though it's springtime at Grand Mesa in Colorado, it's still pretty cold here in the mountains. One can only feel that the winter is over by the warmth of the sun and the snow melting, but the air is cold. The Aspen are still holding back, maybe they are expecting another snowstorm.

At about 12,000 feet elevation on Hwy 12 in Utah, it's cold and overcast. The mountain range in the distance is Colorado. There it a tiny ray of sunlight on the foothills. So we hope for a beautiful new day.
