Sunshine Skyway Bridge
This bridge looks very impressive no matter from which angle you look at it. It's on I-275 near St. Petersburg in Florida.
Easy Living
What caught my attention on this busy morning at the Davis Island Yacht Club in Tampa were those fantastic clouds and their reflections in the water. It gave the scenery a special dynamic. The yachts in the distance are very pretty too of course.
The Harbor of Tampa
Harbor scenes have a very strong attraction. The water, the drydocks, the big and small boats, everything creates a lot of motion and noise. Which can be very entertaining and enjoyable.
Rough California Coastline
The Pacific Ocean is usually a bit rough and really cold, even in summer. On this evening the sun was setting soon, strong haze moved inland and it got cold quickly. A bird was checking us out. This wild coast is North of San Simeon on the famous Highway 1 between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Enjoying the Breeze
This is a typical California beach scene around San Simeon and Cambria. It's sunny and windy at mostly empty beaches. You can walk for miles and miles. It's fantastic for photographers as there are so many colorful coastlines with bizarre rocks and driftwood.
Lone Cypress
The most famous Cypress Tree in the world. They even put a little wall around it to save-guard its roots. This is close to the Midway Point on the 17 Mile Drive in Monterey, California.
17 Mile Drive, Monterey
A picture-book day at the California coast with the Pacific showing off his best side: blue sky, blue water with white waves and a rocky cliff. The sun is warm enough to enjoy being out there for hours and taking pictures.
