Countryside in Utah
Utah has the most interesting landscapes all across the state. This is on Hwy 12 somewhere around Bryce on the way to Escalante. Hwy 9 and 12 and 24 are our favorite locations because they are so varied in color and scenery.

At first the storm was way in the distance, but then we could see it coming closer and closer. It only took a few more miles until we hit the storm.

Somewhere on State Road 24 in Utah near Caineville. This is a spectacular road with sceneries changing from grey mountains to smooth yellow or dark red mountains. I find those rock formations really interesting, wondering how they formed this way.

When leaving Torrey, Utah, via the Scenic Route to Capitol Reef National Park, we were very surprised to find this beautiful green valley in the middle of the desert. Of course there runs a little creek which is giving life to all kinds of plants and animals.

Even though the sky looked like rain, we were rewarded with a very impressive drive through what felt like driving inside a canyon on Hwy 24 heading towards Capitol Reef National Park in Utah. These rocks are bizarre and really red.

Way up the mountains is the Eastern Exit of the Zion Park. There is a very narrow tunnel. RVs have to pay for the service of a park guard, stopping the traffic for safe passage.
