Carmel Beach

Foggy afternoon at Carmel-By-The-Sea in California. The beach is empty, the ocean is calm and hard to see with the fog rolling in. I wanted to capture this fantastic blue plant because it is creating such an impressive foreground.

Fog at Carmel Beach

It had been sunny and warm all day but later in the afternoon the fog crept in from the Ocean and it got cold and kind of wett. This is the beach at Carmel-by-the Sea. They have beautiful houses along the coast with lovely front yards in the typical California style.

The most famous Cypress Tree in the world. They even put a little wall around it to save-guard its roots. This is close to the Midway Point on the 17 Mile Drive in Monterey, California.

Carmel Beach, California.

The Pacific Ocean is breathtaking and uplifting. To the right is Carmel-by-the-Sea. A beautiful little town with great shops and restaurants. The water is really cold even in summer. Just sticking your feet into it will cool you down immediately.
